Deaf Evangelism And Fellowship (D.E.A.F.)
D.E.A.F. exists to further the Gospel, particularly to deaf people, in America and around the world, by communicating it in their language, with their idioms and through their cultural nuances. Preaching and teaching God's Holy Word to deaf people will achieve this purpose. Establishing and supporting of deaf ministries and deaf churches are additional ways; camps, retreats, conferences, etc. will also help. Other ministry outreach include: teaching sign language classes providing sign language curriculum, holding teacher training seminars, evangelism/international ministry teams, and supporting and establishing deaf ministries.
Deaf Friends International
Deaf Friends International is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization. Among their current projects are the: DFI Junior-an online magazine subscription for students below 18 years old and teachers; DFI Senior-an online magazine subscription that contains stories and listings from deaf adults, and the; DFI Cares Program-scholarships, hearing aids, disaster relief, TTY's and other special equipment, school supplies, other worthwhile projects that benefit the deaf, expenses related to the adoption of deaf children, medical needs.
